Mediation works

Mediation can provide a quicker and more cost-effective way of resolving disputes than contested court proceedings. Fees are normally shared equally between the parties and are agreed in advance, helping you keep control of the costs throughout the process. Fees generally comprise of the cost of mediation sessions and, where required, preparation of a Mediated Settlement, Parenting Plan or Community Agreement.

The initial 15-minute consultation is free and without expectation or obligation. 

I aim to respond to all emails within 24 hours.

Routine emails and telephone calls are included at no additional charge. 

If significant preparation or additional work outside scheduled sessions is required, any additional fee will be discussed and agreed with you in advance.

There is no additional charge for online mediation via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.   

For in-person mediation at a venue close to you, any additional room hire or travel cost will be agreed in advance.  

No fee is charged where a session is cancelled with at least 48 hours' notice. 

Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice are charged at 50% of the scheduled session fee.
