More about me

I'm an accredited mediator who specialises in helping separating couples and families work through conflict and come to practical agreements. My focus is on creating a calm, respectful space where each person feels heard, and where you can move from difficulty towards clarit Before becoming a mediator, I spent 18 years with RTÉ Radio, producing and presenting programmes including the multi‑award‑winning Park Bench series on RTÉ Radio 1.

That work honed the skills that are now at the heart of my mediation practice: listening carefully, thoughtful questions, empathy, clear communication and impartiality. I hold a BA in Communication Studies and an MA in Journalism from DCU. I completed Certified Mediation Training and Family (Separating Couples) Mediation with Round Table in Cork, followed by Child Inclusive Mediation training with the Family Mediators Association.

I'm an accredited member of the Mediators' Institute of Ireland (MII) and a Lead Mediator with the Irish Professional Mediators Organisation in partnership with the Donegal Parent and Family Support Service. I also volunteer with Dublin Community Mediation, helping people in conflict through constructive conversation. Alongside workplace and community cases, my main interest is in family and separating‑couple mediation – especially helping parents agree on parenting arrangements and the division of finances and property, so they can avoid formal court proceedings as much as possible.

Originally from County Meath and now based in Dublin 8, I offer online and in‑person mediation, with flexible daytime, evening and weekend appointments.
